About The Product

Banganapalle is a mango variety named after Banganapalle town in Andra Pradesh. The mango is popular in the North by the name of Safeda. An unspoilt obliquely oval specimen presents an unblemished golden yellow thin edible skin. These mangoes are large-sized, The pulp is fibreless, firm and yellow with a sweet taste. It received a geographical indication tag in May 2017. Banaganapalle mangoes have been grown for over 100 years in Andhra Pradesh.


About The Farmer

Ranga Raju Venkatesh is a third-generation farmer from Krishna Dist of Andra Pradesh. Krishna Dist produces one of the first mangoes in the country. Ranga understands that people vary of using carbide ripened mangoes and hence he ripens mangoes by putting them in haystacks for 10 days before packing and dispatching to Delhi. Other than Mangoes - Ranga also grows lemons and sweet lime on his orchard.
